These are the mystical works of Roger D. Arndt, a magical world where fantasy and reality meet in varied images of nature.

To your left is the artist's working studio where, glowing with rich wood and soft lighting, and again lined with paintings, one can observe the artist at work. Roger's palette and work space are meticulously neat, like his work. Standing as he paints, Roger creates luminous, fluid images that appear to move and change with the intensity of light. Ever present is the gently flowing mist of an early morning haze, or deepening sky at twilight.

"I like to invite the viewer's own involvement," says Roger. "I want to take them away to place they've always wanted to be: the solitude of a mountain stream, or the peacefulness of an alpine lake."

Soft-spoken and intense, Roger is a master of his craft. With patience and consistency of style, Roger uses smooth brush strokes and glazing techniques to achieve subtle color and greater depth in his paintings.

Surrounded by music, nature, and the serenity of his orchard studio, this talented artist works diligently to produce marvelous, evocative works of art.
